Oxfordshire County Council planning applications

Oxfordshire County Council determines planning applications related to mineral extraction and waste management and the County Council’s own developments including developments at schools, fire stations and other county council assets as well as for infrastructure such as new roads. For all other types of developments including residential, please contact your local District or City Council.

This Website only contains planning records for the applications held electronically determined by the County Council. It is not a complete database of all information held. Do not rely on information from this site as an alternative to traditional land searches such as Land Registry or Local Land Charge Searches or any other land search.

While the County Council takes care to ensure that the information provided on this Website is accurate, the Council shall not be held responsible for the content or absence of any information on the website or any inability, for whatever reason, to view information on the Website. No representation, warranty, assurance or undertaking (express or implied) is made, and no responsibility or liability is or will be accepted by the Council in relation to the adequacy, accuracy or completeness of the information on this web site. Historic records

Not all documents relating to planning permissions granted before 2009 have been digitised. They may be held within the County Council archives. Should you wish to obtain view any information which may be held by the Council related to planning permissions granted before 2009 you will need to make a request in writing to the council pursuant to the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. Copies must not be made or used for any other purpose without the prior permission of the copyright owner.

Documents containing or based on Ordnance Survey mapping are subject to Crown Copyright. Such mapping must not be sub-licensed, sold, demonstrated, lent or otherwise transferred or exploited without permission from the copyright owner. If you are unsure whether you can lawfully use the material, contact the Ordnance Survey directly for prior written permission.

Personal data

In accordance with national legislation and guidance, the names and addresses of applicants and agents and those making comments and representations on planning applications may appear on our website.

We cannot accept anonymous or private / confidential comments on live planning applications. If you do not provide your name AND address or do not wish your name or address to appear within the case file, then your comments will be treated as anonymous and your views will not be taken into account in consideration of the planning application.
